Our Web Design and
Development Process ensures every element of a web site is developed in
a structured and timely process. Our customers review the web site
on-line and provide feedback through each development phase.
Below
is an overview of our web design &
development process.
| FREE
Consultation |
|
| We
consult with the customer to determine what
the Goals for the site are. Documents
are obtained for our review, such as,
brochures, product lists, mission statements,
etc. This helps to define the target
audience as well as basic information
regarding the company. We then analyze
what the site visitor needs to accomplish or
obtain by visiting the site. |
|
| Cost
Estimate |
| After
the initial consultation, we prepare a
detailed cost estimate. The client then
chooses website features to develop now or in
the future and if needed, the cost estimate is
revised.
|
|
| Web
Site Design |
|
| Mock
ups of three sites are created. The
customer views online and provides
feedback. Once a design is selected and
modified, A development timeline and progress
reports are scheduled. |
|
| Web
Site Development |
|
| Once
the analysis and design are complete, web site
development begins. During the web site
development phase, the web and all pages,
content, graphics, forms, databases, etc. are
created. Our customers are able to view
their site during the development process and
provide feedback.
|
|
| Test |
|
| When
the development is complete, SourceOneWeb
thoroughly tests all pages, forms, databases,
shopping carts, etc. to insure the web site
links and functionality work correctly. |
